Thailand\u2019s first international medical program at The Faculty of Medicine, King Mongkut\u2019s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (MDKMITL) celebrated its 10th anniversary with the presence of distinguished guests, academic partners, esteemed speakers, and representatives from various organizations who joined in commemorating this significant milestone.<\/p>\n

A key highlight of the event was a commemorative MDKMITL Research Talk Session, a platform that brought together experts in medicine and education to exchange knowledge, share in-depth perspectives, and explore future-oriented ideas in advancing medical education and research. The insightful discussions covered a range of important topics in the realm of international medical education in today\u2019s challenging healthcare environment, including elevating Thailand\u2019s medical education to international standards, approaches to healthcare in a global context, the development of medical professionals, the Clinician Scientist model, and strategies for integrating innovation into clinical practice. Faculty members, researchers, and medical students of MDKMITL actively contributed their insights and experiences throughout the session.<\/p>\n

Associate Professor Dr. Komsan Maleesee, President of King Mongkut\u2019s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), <\/strong>stated that, \u201creaching the 10th anniversary of the Faculty of Medicine marks a significant milestone reflecting the institution\u2019s strong commitment and capability in continuously advancing medical education and research.\u201d He emphasized the importance of collaboration with both domestic and international partners in strengthening the nation\u2019s healthcare system.<\/p>\n

Over the past decade, the Faculty of Medicine, KMITL, has continuously developed its international academic programs, research, and innovations, with a focus on producing 21st<\/sup> century medical professionals who can harness the power of innovation to help generate new knowledge to responds to current societal needs.<\/p>\n

Professor Dr. Somchai Tanawattanacharoen, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, KMITL,<\/strong> noted that, \u201cthis celebration not only marks the anniversary of the Faculty\u2019s establishment but also reflects the strength of collaboration among partner networks, which has been instrumental in driving sustainable growth.<\/p>\n

The Faculty of Medicine, KMITL, remains committed to advancing medical innovation and nurturing the next generation of medical professionals to meet future global challenges.\u201d The Faculty also expressed its appreciation to all partners and stakeholders who have contributed to this important milestone and reaffirmed its intention to continue long-term collaboration.<\/p>\n

This year marks many hallmarks for the institution as KMITL is also preparing to host its major annual events including the \u201cLadkrabang Exhibition 2026\u201d and \u201cKMITL Expo 2026,\u201d scheduled to take place from 1 – 6 September 2026 at King Mongkut\u2019s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. The events will provide a platform for the public, students, entrepreneurs, investors, and organizations to explore new technologies, gain hands-on experiences, and build innovation networks aimed at sustainable national development. The exhibitions will also showcase a wide range of research and innovations by faculty members and students across disciplines.<\/p>\n

In addition, the events will feature an Open House activity which is a key educational guidance activity offering students, parents, and interested individuals the opportunity to learn more about KMITL\u2019s faculties and academic programs, as well as to explore research and innovation up close.<\/p>\n
