On November 18, 2024, the National Health Security Office (NHSO) organized the “National Health Security Office Foundation Day”, which falls on November 19 of every year. This year marks the 22nd anniversary, stepping into its 23rd year. The event included activities to commemorate the advancement of the national health security system. Dr. Jadet Thammathataree, Secretary-General of the National Health Security Office, along with Dr. Sinchai Towattanakitkul, Deputy Secretary-General of the NHSO, led the executives and NHSO staff in laying a wreath in front of the image of Dr. Songwan Nitiyarampong, the first Secretary-General of the National Health Security Office and the person who pushed the national health security system forward. Former executives of the NHSO and distinguished guests from various agencies attended the event.
In addition, Phra Ratchawacharathammaphani (S.N. Subharo), abbot of Wat Chonlaprathan Rangsarit, Royal Monastery, gave a sermon on “The Virtues and Ethics of Good Civil Servants” to bring good fortune to the executives and staff of the NHSO, as well as the distinguished guests who attended the event.
In addition, Dr. Wichai Chokwiwat, a member of the Friendship Bamrap Foundation, gave a special lecture on “The Legend of the Gold Card”, and Mrs. Phongsawat Nilayothin, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice, as a co-draftor of the National Health Security Act B.E. 2545, will give a lecture on “Before the National Health Security Act”.
